This month’s tour is a unique opportunity to explore one of downtown Skowhegan’s most remarkable revitalization projects and see firsthand how this historic building is being restored for modern life and community use.

The Spinning Mill — originally built in 1922 as a bustling industrial yarn mill — has been carefully redeveloped into a vibrant mixed-use destination featuring loft-style apartments, a boutique hotel, amenity spaces, and community gathering areas. From the airy co-working lounge and screening room to future event spaces, every corner tells a story of heritage, transformation, and community vision.
